
BIOGRAPHY
Amr Salama is an internationally acclaimed film director, writer, and producer with a portfolio spanning feature films, hit TV and platform shows, commercials, music videos, and documentaries.
He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars), a Webby Awards winner, a bestselling author, and a prominent online blogger with over 4 million social media followers.​
Salama created, wrote, produced, and directed Egypt’s first Netflix original series, Paranormal, which Variety named one of the best international shows of 2020.

He co-directed the award-winning documentary Tahrir 2011: The Good, The Bad & The Politician, which received the UNESCO Award at the Venice Film Festival, among numerous other accolades.
Salama also directed and curated content for the Arabic version of Saturday Night Live, directed the popular Egyptian drama Tayea, and co-produced and co-directed the hit Shahid VIP show Bimbo (2022).
